Mobility Minute: Growing Your Expertise To Sell Mobile Solutions

While many of us eat, work, relax and even sleep with our mobile devices, it can still be difficult to introduce mobility into the workplace.

In response, Samsung has created a new certification program to help solution providers reap the benefits of the mobility movement, especially around unlocked phones.

"We've launched our new certification program on Samsung Business Academy, which gives all of our channel partners the ability to access content around our products and our solutions and our Knox security platform, so they feel like they have the knowledge they need when talking to customers," Christy Jones, director, B2B sales enablement at Samsung, told CRNtv.

Samsung Business Academy gives partners the critical skills and knowledge to not only sell Samsung products, but to also bake in their services and solutions.

"Customers don’t want you to just come in and talk to them about the product, they want you to solve their business needs and solve the challenges that they're facing," said Jones. "To do that, they need a complete solution."

This approach can help partners become their customer's go-to provider while increasing their margins.

"If you really want to have those next lever conversations around the vertical use cases, we offer training around retail, healthcare, finance, government, transportation and more," said Jones.
